What is required to view the slideshows?

The shows that are created can run on any computer that has the free Macromedia Flash Player 7 but it will play smoother with Flash 8.

Are they viewable on both a PC and a Mac?

Yes, your slideshows can be viewed on a PC or Mac with Flash installed. Over 97% of internet viewers have Macromedia Flash already installed on their computer, allowing them to view your slideshows without having to download and install a player.

My client can't view one of the slideshows, what should I tell them to do?

Most issues with clients not able to view a show is because of an old Flash player or problems updating their Flash player. Adobe has a tech note that explains how to troubleshoot this issue here.

Can the slideshows be burned to a CD or DVD?

The slideshow folder can be burned to a CD, but you will only be able to open it on a computer by double clicking on the "index.html" file in the show folder. We can rename this "index.html" file to make it easier on the user or we can also include an autorun script that launches the "index.html" file so that it can play automatically in a computer. We currently do NOT create a DVD that will play in a DVD player. It is intended for the Web and that is what it is, web slideshows.
